New Circle Rate in Ghaziabad - All You Need to Know About It
In the coming week new circle rates in Ghaziabad are likely to unfold. Ghaziabad District Authority (GDA) is nearing to close approximately 50 public objections regarding the announcement of circle rates in Ghaziabad on 14th September.
As per the proposed circle rates in Ghaziabad, the multi-storey apartments will witness 10-40% expensive. However, it will vary according to localities. The apartments in gated communities like Wave City is likely to witness hike from Rs. 74,000 to Rs. 93,000 per sq.mtr. Following this, Siddharth Vihar, next to Indirapuram will also record soaring rise from Rs. 52,000 sq.mtr. to Rs. 68,000 sq.mtr.
"Till the end of the public objection stage on September 30, we received about 50 different objections where the public demanded a reduction in rates while others demanded a further hike. In areas like Modinagar and behind the Wave City, people have asked us to reduce the rates, while in city areas, they have asked for a hike in rates." said, Pushpendra Kumar, Assistant inspector general (AIG – stamps),
He further said, "We have also received objections from farmers of villages
whose land will be acquired by the Ghaziabad Development Authority for their
proposed Harnandipuram Township. These farmers have demanded that circle rates
of their villages be hiked. Overall, the 50 objections will be disposed of in a
couple of days, and the circle rates for FY 2025-26 will be finalised in
another 2-3 days thereafter.”
As a procedural conduct, eight sub-registrars evaluated the existing circle rates and market rates. According to the report published in a leading news daily, a hike of 15-20% for residential properties was announced. However, commercial property witness hike of 20% and 10-15% hike is on agricultural land.
